Meet Bakang Neneketsang,
Bakang works as a Senior HSE Officer at our Motheo Copper Project in Botswana.
Bakang provides oversight of on-site work performance by contractors, which includes assessing contractor compliance and contract requirements in accordance .
As a Senior HSE Officer, Bakang prepares reports for Site Management with detailed findings and recommendations and has recently supported the Project in reaching a significant safety milestone – 4 million hours LTI free.
Bakang says that being part of the Motheo Copper Project team and supporting the Project to ensure the safety of its employees, contractors and stakeholders has been a career highlight.
Outside of Sandfire, Bakang works within the community and enjoys reading self-improvement, leadership and personal development books. Bakang also loves travelling – exploring new places and meeting new people!
