Alicia is a Water Management Technician at our Sandfire MATSA operations and joined the team 10 years ago.
During her time at Sandfire, Alicia has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge from different areas of the business and has enjoyed contributing to process optimisation and improvement, and knowledge sharing.
Alicia is a valued member of the water management team and has played an important role in the optimisation of water use in our mining operations, including the calculation and reduction of our water footprint, and has participated in important research projects in this area.
Recently, Alicia had the opportunity to participate in a round table discussion, during the closure of the Life Remine Water project.
“I feel very fortunate to be involved in such a large-scale European project. It symbolises our commitment to continuous improvement in the management of water resources,” Alicia said.
The Life Remine Water project is an initiative that supports the research and development of innovative water treatment solutions, to promote the recovery and reuse of water in the mining industry.
