Meet Goabaone,
As a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Officer at Motheo, Goabaone has a shared responsibility with other SHE Officers for implementing and maintaining the Sandfire safety policies and procedures on site.
In her role, Goabaone assists colleagues and team members from other departments to understand and utilise safety related systems and monitor trends in Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) indicators.
Goabaone is proud of her contribution to the development and implementation of Motheo’s Occupational Health and Safety management system.
“By allowing me to contribute to this system, Sandfire has supported me to make informed decisions concerning the safety of our people, and to ensure our employees understand it is everyone’s responsibility to foster a safe working environment,” Goabaone said.
During her time off, Goabaone enjoys spending time with family and going to church.
