Meet Sandra,
Sandra works as a Nipper at our Sandfire MATSA Copper operations within the Aguas Teñidas Mine.
Originally, Sandra started her mining career through a truck and loader training course run by the company, which looked to support local residents within the region with an employment pathway.
Sandra is a native of the municipality of Cortegana (Huelva), and says she is passionate about the mining industry, where she enjoys working within a diverse and inclusive work team, and seeing how the mine continues to develop.
In her free time, Sandra enjoys horse riding in the middle of nature, as she is lucky enough to live in a municipality that is part of the Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche Natural Park, in Andalusia.
