The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS WO) is a leading organisation in aeromedicine, providing critical healthcare to people living in regional and remote Western Australia.
For nearly a century, the RFDS dedicated team of doctors, nurses and pilots have worked together to carry out aeromedical retrievals and primary health care clinics, ensuring all West Australians have access to the same health care, emergency and life-saving treatment.
Sandfire has been a proud sponsor of the RFDS since 2015, and we were pleased to recently support the RFDS as a Matched Giving Partner for their Flying Doctor Day appeal. Overall, the RFDS raised $827,000 which went towards clinical education training, new technology and equipment.

Sandfire se mantiene como donante de contrapartida para el Servicio Médico Aéreo Real
El Servicio Médico Aéreo Real (RFDS, por sus siglas en inglés) es una organización líder en el área de la aeromedicina que presta asistencia sanitaria esencial a personas que viven en áreas remotas de la región occidental de Australia. Desde hace un siglo, el equipo dedicado de médicos, enfermeros y pilotos del RFDS trabaja codo con codo para realizar traslados aeromédicos y prestar cuidados de atención sanitaria básica, garantizando que todos los ciudadanos y ciudadanas de Australia Occidental tengan acceso a la misma atención sanitaria, servicio de urgencias y tratamiento cuando su vida esté en riesgo.
