Community Investment

Sandfire aims to provide to programs which positively contribute to the communities’ local to our mining and exploration activities across the world.  

Increasingly, governments and other stakeholders have an expectation on mining companies to play a greater role in promoting sustainable socio-economic development. Local employment, procurement and community investment are among the greatest ways Sandfire can share the benefits of its presence. 

Sandfire continues to prioritise multi-stakeholder partnerships to deliver long-term local development programs which aim to continue after our activities in the area cease. Sandfire also provides funding for community programs that are able to demonstrate how they will meet local needs whilst positively contributing to the community in an effective and sustainable manner.
