At our MATSA Operations, our Mine Rescue Brigade supports our teams to build our emergency response capability.
The Mine Rescue Brigade consists of almost 30 volunteer employees and contractors who have been trained to respond to a range of emergency scenarios.
The Rescue Brigade protects our operational mines, Magdalena and Aguas Teñidas, and collaborates with the Sotiel brigade to safeguard to our Sotiel mine. Volunteers are well equipped with advanced emergency response equipment which provides peace of mind for our employees and contractors at MATSA.
