Sandfire recently welcomed members of our financial community to Botswana so they could gain a greater insight into our Motheo Copper Operations and broader Kalahari Copper Belt exploration.
The two day visit included a tour of Motheo’s T3 and A4 open pits and the processing plant, and discussions with the teams responsible for delivering Motheo’s strong operational performance and growth pipeline.
Our visitors also viewed operational improvement initiatives designed to increase efficiency across the mining and processing value chain and heard about the results of our near-mine and regional exploration programs, including A1 Extension and A4 West drilling.
The Motheo Team proudly demonstrated their commitment to sustainability and the local communities with visits to the under-construction solar farm and the recently constructed Ghanzi community market stalls.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to showcase the quality of our operations, the strength of our leadership team and the professionalism, pride and passion that our Botswana workforce brings to the business every day.
