Meet Botshelo Alfred Molatole, a Sample Preparation Technician from the Exploration Team at our Motheo Copper Operations in Botswana.
“As a Sample Preparation Technician, I am responsible for performing sample sorting, receiving, drying, crushing, pulverizing and screening in accordance with the company work order instructions and laboratory quality guidelines and procedures.
“I started with the company as a Sampler Assistant and was promoted to Sample Preparation Technician through the company’s recognition and development programs. I believe in being a great team player to contribute to the success of the company,” Botshelo said.
Outside of working with Sandfire, Botshelo is a farmer and a community volunteer who has experience working with the community as a former Village Development Committee member for the Kgaphamadi ward in Ghanzi. Molatole is a football (soccer) fanatic who holds the position of Publicity Chair at Bornite Social Club.
