Urandy

Urandy Project

The Urandy Project, located in the West Pilbara region, 80 kilometres southeast of the coastal town Onslow, is a prospective tenement for primary gold mineralisation and base metals, hosted in the Paleoproterozic Ashburton Formation.

The Project was originally acquired by Sandfire because of its prospectivity for primary gold mineralisation north of a granite intrusion into the meta-sedimentary rocks of the Ashburton Formation.

The Company has completed reconnaissance geochemical surveys to test a widespread zone of anomalous gold-in-bedrock, as well as an area of elevated lead and zinc values reported from wide-spaced rock chip and bedrock sampling.
