Sandfire is one of the largest landholders in the world-class Lachlan Fold Belt of New South Wales, with 2,100km2 of tenure. The Lachlan Fold Belt is prospective for porphyry copper-gold mineralisation as found at North Parkes (China Moly) and Cadia (Newcrest) as well as epithermal gold at Cowal (Evolution). Sandfire’s projects in the region include the 100%-owned Temora, Wingrunner, Wellington North and Bland Creek projects as well as Marsden South (earning up to 80% from Gold Fields Australasia Pty Ltd).
